  • Akoa named Head Men's Soccer Coach

    AUGUSTA, Maine – The University of Maine at Augusta athletics department is pleased to introduce Davy Akoa as the first head coach for the men’s soccer team. The program competed under athletic director Warren Newton in 2011 and will compete in a full varsity schedule in 2012-2013.
  • Goetsche scores first goal in history

    AUGUSTA, Maine - Micah Goetsch (Holton, Maine) scored the first goal in the short history of UMA soccer, as the Moose fell to Eastern Maine Community College 8-1 in conference play. Freshman Chris White (Corinna, Maine) had 12 saves in goal for UMA. The Moose will next travel to Unity College for the Yankee Small College Conference match up on Friday.
  • Men's soccer team comes up short in bid for first win

    AUGUSTA, Maine - The University of Maine at Augusta men's soccer team came up just short against Unity College Monday, falling 6-2, as they continue to search for the first win in program history. Micah Goetsch (Holton, Maine) scored the first goal of the game to put the Moose on the board shortly into the second half.
