AUGUSTA, ME—Junior co-captain Keith Chesley (Clinton, ME) pulled out a monster game against YSCC match-up Central Maine Community College.  Chesley recorded his second 30 plus point night as the Moose tipped off their home opener on Wednesday evening.   He went 12-20 shooting on the night and 9-13 from the charity stripe.  Chesley’s 35 points set the pace for the Moose and he ripped down 15 boards.

Freshman, Taylor Wilbur (Manchester, ME) boasted 16 points for the Moose while co-captain Brandon Rogers (Turlock, CA) had 10 points, nine boards, four assists, and three blocks.

Ultimately, Central Maine’s speed and consistent fresh leg substitutions proved too much for the Moose in the final 10 minutes.  The Mustangs were able to pull away 121 to 85 capturing their fifth win of the season.

Garrett Alley (Rome, ME) was just shy of a double double scoring nine points and grabbing nine boards.  Taylor Mannix (Portland, ME) dropped five points, while Sophomore Caleb McGuire (Whitefield, ME) added four points and six boards.
