Bio

Cassidy Lessner is entering her third year with the Moose, coming from Corinth, Maine.  She is a graduate of Highview Christian Academy. Lessner is majoring in Nursing at UMA.

Lessner is serving as the President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Club (SAAC), helping to implement the club on campus and get others involved in leadership/service opportunities.  In the 2019-20 academic year, the SAAC organized a food drive and spearheaded donation collection for Cystic Fibrosis research.  At UMA, Lessner also serves as an Admissions Ambassador, working with the Admissions department in various capacities including: giving tours, speaking with high school students, assisting with events.  Lessner is also very involved with Emma and Carter Blanche from the Team Impact program.  This year, she attended a karate class with them, planned a pizza party for them at the residence halls, and even set up facetimes chats with them and their mom Lynn during the "stay-at-home" order.

In her sophomore season, Lessner played in 20 games for the Moose.  Her tenacity and post defense made her a strong asset for the Moose.

She appeared in 25 games in her freshman season for the Moose and her 43.2 FG pct was one of the highest on the team last year.
