Manchester, NH - The Moose trekked down to Southern New Hampshire University Friday (3/31) for the first competition of the spring season. The Moose were led by Cole Martin (SO) who cleared 3.65m in the pole vault to finish 2nd. Senior Gabe Roig opened up his season with a 40.14m throw in the javelin to finish 7th. Loran McAlpine (FR) had the series of the meet breaking the school record in the discus on her first throw and each consecutive throw before finally fouling on her final throw in finals. Loran set the new standard at 30.46m. These performances qualified all three athletes for the USCAA national championships.
