(Cape Neddick, ME) - The UMA Moose golf team continued their strong play at the YSCC Conference Championship on Sunday, October 1, at Cape Neddick Country Club. The Moose were led by Tyler Metcalf, finishing with his best round of the season (78) and an overall finish of T-5th. Dylan Bigler also hit the ball well finishing with a (79) and overall T-7th. Captain David Kearns hit (86) for the day with a 16th overall and Jordan Peasley stroked a (98) for an overall 33rd. Coach Doc said "It overall was a good showing for us. We all know what we are capable of and to remember the most important club we have is the 15th, our mind. We keep that, and we'll finish strong at Nationals." The Moose look to end their season strong at the USCAA Nationals in State College, PA. The national event starts Sunday, October 8th and ends Tuesday, October 10th.
