What do you like about UMA? Erica enjoys the diversity in the age of the student body, as well as the smaller class sizes.

Interesting fact about Erica: I can read and write in five languages.

Who are your mentors? “My grandmother and aunt. My grandmother was a very independent and strong woman who raised four children on her own.  She was as stubborn as a mule but had the biggest and kindest heart.  Now that she's passed away, I look to my aunt, her daughter, for guidance when I'm facing a challenge.”

What has been your favorite class at UMA? Erica’s favorite class so far was her Perspectives in Global Health class because it included a week-long service trip to Haiti, which she said was by far the most humbling thing she has ever experienced.
