For the second consecutive week, Jamie
Plummer of the University of Maine at
Augusta has earned the USCAA Women’s Division II
Basketball Player of the Week honor. In three games this past week,
Plummer led her team to a 2-1 record with two conference victories
and one close loss at Bates College.
The sophomore forward averaged nearly a double-double with 24.7 ppg
on 52.8% shooting from the floor while also grabbing 9.3 rpg.
Plummer is currently ranked 5th in the USCAA in scoring
with 19.5 points per game and 13th in rebounding with
10.3 boards per contest while leading the Lady Moose to a 6-4
record to begin the season.
