AUGUSTA, ME – The University of Maine at Augusta hosted the 2015 YSCC bowling championship at Sparetime Recreation in Augusta, Maine on April 19th and 20th.  Paul Smith’s College had a clean sweep in the men’s division, delivering the top three finishers in the tournament.  Great Bay Community College’s Maghan Masury took home first place honors for the women’s division, finishing with a score of 210.

Paul Smith’s College swept not only the men’s division, but the team event as well, with their second team taking the title with an average of 634.7 and their first team placing as the runners-up with an average of 559.8.

In the men’s division, Jason Duryea (Paul Smith's College) bowled a 247 to pick up the victory, defeating teammate Ryan Poltprak (Paul Smith's College), who rolled a 215.  Taylor West (Paul Smith's College) rounded out the top three, recording a 199 in the event.

In the women’s bracket, NHTI’s Mackenzie Tucker followed Masury, finishing with a 136 on the day.  Paul Smith’s College’s Emily Eidman closed out the top three.
