AUGUSTA, ME – UMA men’s basketball is excited to announce that Jalaughn Jackson has committed to the Moose for the 2020-2021 basketball season.

 

Jackson was a 2 time Defensive Player of the Year for Colorado Northwestern Community College while averaging 8.5 points per game for the Spartans last season.  

 

 

Coach Jason Coleman had this to say about Jackson, "Jalaughn possesses a very high basketball IQ and has a unique ability to get in the paint and create for others. He is a very solid defender who can contribute to our teams overall success in a multitude of ways! Not only a great athlete, he is a very respectful and hard working young man who will be appreciated by all of our community"
