AUGUSTA, ME – The UMA golf team held their home Invitational at the Augusta Country Club on Saturday hosting fellow YSCC teams SMCC and NHTI as well as the University of Maine Presque Isle.
The Moose finished second behind NHTI with a team score of 391 to NHTI's 334. UMPI finished 3rd with a score of 437 followed my SMCC in 4th place. Zach Alden led the Moose with a score of 83 making besting his previous low score of the season of an 85. Ty Cowan also took advantage of the home course advantage notching an 88.
Ty Cowan and John "Zach" Alden are off to the USCAA National Golf Championship in Pennsylvania to represent the Moose.
The entire UMA Golf team is focused on the YSCC Championship on October 13th at Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
