Cowan, a first year student-athlete in the Business Administration program, is a graduate from Madison Area High School.  He has professional aspirations of being a Land Appraiser.  

Cowan was a two sport athlete in high school excelling on the golf course and basketball court.  He was a 4 year varsity golfer and served as the team captain for three years.  He was awarded, Honorable Mention, 2nd team all conference, and 1st team all conference honors during his high school career.

In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and playing basketball.
