UMA Golf team takes second, headed to nationals

VASSALBORO, Maine - Keith Ross (Business Administration; Winthrop, Maine) tied for fourth with a career best 82 as the University of Maine at Augusta golf team finished second Saturday at Natanis Golf Course with a 337. The win ensures the Moose a second consecutive trip to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Tournament next weekend in State College, Pennsylvania.

Connor Morey (Aviation; Deer Isle, Maine) finished second for the Moose with an 83, while Jacob Roddy (Justice Studies; Belgrade, Maine) and Jesse Libby (Architecture; Oakland, Maine) both scored an 86 on the day.

NHTI won Saturday's tournament with a team score of 324, with John Bradley winning the individual championship with a 71. The Lynx notched the top three spots, as Andy Levins and Jack Storrow finished second and third, respectively.
