Smith is entering his fourth and final year as a UMA golfer. He brings experience, dedication, and a strong work ethic to the Moose team. “Josh is a Military Veteran who returned to school after serving our country,” notes Head Coach Tristan Starbird. “Josh has been successful in the classroom earning three consecutive Academic All-American Honors.” This will help set the standard for the emphasis on academics for newcomers on the golf team this coming year.
Something you may not know about Josh: He likes to work on and drive antique cars.
Favorite class so far at UMA: This one is a toss up between Techniques in Molecular Biology with Professor Christopher Lage and Perspectives on Global Health with Professor Susan Baker.
What he likes most about UMA: Josh really likes the small feel of the University.
