Smith graduated from Dover Area High School and is originally from East Berlin, Pennsylvania. He now resides in Rome, Maine and is in his senior year here at UMA.  As graduation is approaching, Smith has intentions of becoming a high school science teacher.  During his time here at UMA, Smith was been named a USCAA Academic All-American in 2012 as well as 2013 and earned a spot as a UMA Rising Scholar in 2013.  Outside of school and golf, Smith enjoys antique cars.
