AMHERST, MA – UMA women’s cross country competed in the YSCC Conference Championship hosted by Hampshire College this past weekend. The 6K course was a mix of single and double track mixed throughout campus and the surrounding farm fields and woods.
BRUNSWICK, ME – UMA cross country traveled to Bowdoin for the 2nd year in a row to run in the Maine State Invitational. Maine States has become one of the largest collegiate cross country meets during the season in Maine and this year Bowdoin hosted 18 schools including 6 out of state DIII schools.
AUGUSTA, ME – The University of Maine at Augusta hosted their first home meet in program history on one of the most storied cross country courses in the state.
UMA women’s cross country has seen growth since finishing 2nd overall in the YSCC conference during the 2017 season. Caitlin LaFountain (Senior) and Emily Billings (Sophomore) return to run for the Moose and are looking to pick up where they left off.
