HOW IT HAPPENED
UMA men's basketball lost Saturday afternoon after Eddie Kwaw hit a deep 3-pointer off an inbound pass with 4 seconds left in overtime to put the Bobcats up 86-85 for the YSCC conference win.
The Moose controlled the game through the first half and were up by 16-points going into the second half. UMA held a comfortable lead through the second half and were up by 10-points with 5:24 left in regular play. The Bobcats over the next few minutes would eliminate UMA's lead and with 21 seconds left in the game would take the lead up 73-71. Israel Brown made a layup in the final seconds to force the game into overtime. The Moose were unable to stop Eddie Kwaw whose game winning shot from well beyond the 3-point line sealed the win for the Bobcats as time ran out.
