Women Improve 6K Times At Bowdoin Invitational

BRUNSWICK, ME – UMA Cross Country returned to Bowdoin College on Saturday the 13th after having the weekend off from racing over the long fall weekend.

Shauna Riordan ran 28:45 in the rain finishing first for the UMA women's cross country team at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday. Riordan improved her 6K time from two weeks prior in difficult conditions on the same course. Faith Krause finished 2nd on the women's side and took a full minute and a half off of her 6K time at Maine States and the biggest two-week improvement came from Emily Billings who cut 4 minutes off of her season best as she continues to improve from an early season injury.

The Moose head to Hampshire College for the YSCC Conference Championship on October 20th.
