AUBURN, MAINE – UMA women's basketball team played their way to their 3^rd conference victory this week again Paul Smiths College Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

UMA took immediate control of the game in the first quarter going up 23-6 and never looked back. The Moose had great ball movement throughout the first half and used their size advantage over Paul Smiths to out rebound them 26-9 in the first half. Sidney Moore was connecting from behind the arch early on and would go on to shoot 3-4 from three.

The second half the Moose picked up where they left off. Freshman Cassidy Lessner saw solid minutes off the bench and had a season high of 10 points. Sophomore Emily Billings had 15 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals. The Moose would go on to win 84-30 extending their win streak to four in a row, with the last three against YSCC opponents to end the semester.

NOTES OF THE GAME

• Caitlin LaFountain had 19 points and 15 rebounds
• Sidney Moore lead the Moose with 21 points
• Cassidy Lessner had a season high 10 points and a rebound off the bench
