AUGUSTA, ME – UMA basketball is excited to announce that former Erskine Academy guard Mallory Chamberlain has committed to the Moose for the 2017/2018 season.

Chamberlain is a multi-sport athlete and has demonstrated strength as a leader being named captain in varsity soccer, basketball, and softball in her senior year.

Mallory was named to KVAC Senior All Star Team and received a KVAC Honorable Mention for basketball in both her sophomore and senior year.

Coach Jennifer Laney is excited to have Mallory joining the Moose next season saying, "Mallory will be a great fit with the Moose family. Her athleticism and strength in the guard position will a be a great asset to the team."

When asked why she chose UMA Chamberlain said, "I decided to attend UMA because it is a small school, close to home with great academics, and successful athletics."

Mallory was named to the KVAC All Academic Team in all 3 sports. She was on the honor roll all four years while at Erskine Academy and is planning to major in Biology while attending UMA next fall.
