Card puts up Triple Double in Win over Paul Smith's

AUGUSTA, ME—The UMA women's basketball team faced off against Paul Smith's College in their third matchup over the semester break.  The Moose came off of a 1-1 showing at the NHTI Holiday Inn Classic.  In this first conference matchup of the second semester, the Moose came out with a vengeance.  Five Moose scored in an 18-2 run to start the game.  The Moose had their way attacking the rim and connecting throughout the entire game.  By the half, the Moose led 42-14 against the Bobcats of Paul Smith's.  The Moose continued their momentum seeing a contribution from each and every player.  They would go on to win 83-23.

Captain, Jamie Plummer led the way for the Moose with 17 points and 7 assists and her co-captain Carmen Bragg netted 12 points and pulled in 7 boards.  Morgan Card finished the game with her first career triple double netting 12 points, dishing out 10 assists, and pulling down 10 rebounds. 

The Bobcats were led by Alexis Best who put up 13 points.  Johannah Allen also added 6 points.

The Moose are back in action on Thursday, January 19th at 5:00p.m. when they face off against Dean College in Franklin, Mass.
