Plummer’s 27 points lead women’s basketball to win

CONCORD, N.H. - Jamie Plummer scored a season-high 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the University of Maine at Augusta women's basketball team to a 67-40 victory over Bunker Hill Community College at the Hogan Camps Women's Thanksgiving Tournament. 

Plummer (Richmond, Maine) turned in her sixth double-double performance of the season for the Moose (7-3, 2-0 YSCC) with a game-high 12 rebounds. Freshman Caitlin LaFountain (Topsham, Maine) also hit double-digits in rebounds with ten on the game, to go along with nine points. Senior Darby Toth (North Port, Fla.) was 3-6 from behind the point for nine points, while Carmen Bragg (Washburn, Maine) also scored nine points. 

The win was the second of the season over Bunker Hill for UMA, who also recorded a 90-59 win over them on November 7th.  

UMA returns to home action on Tuesday night when the team takes on Yankee Small College Conference rival Southern Maine Community College at the Augusta Civic Center at 6:00 p.m.
