Plummer records Triple-Double in Victory

CONCORD, NH – The University of Maine at Augusta women's basketball team routed Massasoit Community College 80-25 on Sunday afternoon at the New Hampshire Technical Institute's New Year's Women's Tournament. Jamie Plummer (Richmond, ME) just missed a quadruple-double, finishing the game with 18 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and eight steals.

Kylie Kemp (Monmouth, ME) led the way for the Lady Moose in the first half, netting 13 points and grabbing eight boards. Jessica St. Amand (Windsor, ME) added 12 points in the half while going 4-4 from the free throw line. UMA took a 31-point lead into the locker room, leading 40-9. 

Carmen Bragg (Washburn, ME) finished the game with nine points and eight assists, while also grabbing four steals. Krystin Kemp (Monmouth, ME) and Erica Fredrick-Rock (Augusta, ME) added eight and two points respectively. Monique Moore (Jefferson, ME) grabbed eight rebounds in the win.

Stephanie Robbins was the leading scorer for Massasoit CC, netting nine points.

The Lady Moose return to the court on January 14th when they travel to Southern Maine Community College. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
