Cross Country Improves At Bowdoin Invitational

BRUNSWICK, ME – UMA Cross Country returned to Bowdoin College on Saturday the 13th after having the weekend off from racing over the long fall weekend.

Sam Gerken ran 28:45 in the rain finishing first for the UMA men's cross country team at the Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday. Gerken improved his 8K time from two weeks prior in difficult weather conditions on the same course. Caleb Fortin finished 2nd on the men's side followed by Pierre Laot who took several minutes off of his time two weeks prior.

The Moose head to Hampshire College for the YSCC Conference Championship on October 20th.
