RANDOLPH, VT – The men's cross country team traveled to Vermont to compete in the Vermont Tech Invitational on Saturday to open their season.
Seven teams competed for maple syrup over a difficult course that incorporated classic Vermont terrain including a significant hill around the 5K mark before making the trip back through the campus and apple orchard to a fast finish.
Returners Sam Gerken and Caleb Fortin went 1st and 2nd for the Moose with newcomers Jake Cummings and Pierre Laot finishing in the 3rd and 4th spots for the Moose.
The men's cross country team will travel to Unity, Maine for the Unity College Invitational on September 15th.
