Clippers Pull Away in Second Half

AUGUSTA, MAINE – UMA men's basketball hosted the University of Maine Machias Wednesday night in the Augusta Civic Center after having Tuesday's games postponed due to storms.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Israel Brown was out again for the Moose and Machias was missing their big man Trey Thompson in this YSCC conference matchup. Throughout the first half each team held the lead momentarily staying within 5 points through the first half with the Moose going into the locker room with the lead 45-43.

The Moose continued to have foul trouble in the second half and Machias was able to capitalize on this opening up a 11-point lead with 12 minutes remaining in the game. The Moose stayed within 10 points through the remainder of the game with a final score of 90-80 in favor of Machias.
