 AUGUSTA, ME--- The UMA men's basketball team faced off against YSCC conference opponent Paul Smiths College, Thursday, January 12th at Southern Maine Community College. The first half was a constant battle with six different lead changes forcing both teams to capitalize on their strengths. It was tied at 36 going into the break. For the Moose, Jordon Holmes ended the half with 18 points and Dustin Simpson-Bragg with 14 points. The Bobcats Rich Duvivier and Elijah Pettis ended the half with 15 points and 8 points respectively.

The second half was much of the same until Paul Smith found a spurt of energy and pushed their way to an 18-0 run. Paul smith went on to win the game 97-79. Senior Nick Bragg showed his versatility with 5 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 blocks. Holmes finished with 35 points and Simpson-Bragg with 29 points and 9 rebounds. Duvivier finished the game for Paul Smith's with 34 points and 13 rebounds and Pettis with 26 points and 8 rebounds off the bench.

The Moose fall to 2-5 in the conference. The Moose will be back in action January 19th against Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts.
