Caleb McGuire, a  6'7 power forward, retunrs for his third year with the Moose. McGuire is the son of Mark & Liane McGuire and is a business major here at UMA. He graduated from Erskine Academy in 2013. Mcguire played basketball all four years of high school and was selected as team captain his senior year.  He was also awarded All-Conference Honorable Mention for his efforts.  

Last season, McGuire averaged 5.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. He scored a career high 22 points in a 112-96 victory over Unity and followed that performance with 18 points against the University of Maine at Machias. 

In his freshman year, McGuire averaged 9.1 points per game as a freshman and 4.7 rebounds per game.  One of his most outstanding statistic was that McGuire shot 43.8% on the season.  He looks to continue to improve upon his game as he enters his sophomore season with the Moose.

In his free time, McGuire enjoys cars, trading on craigslist, and being outdoors.
