Entering his second year at UMA, Brown is a duel sport athlete competing in both cross country and basketball.  He concluded his first cross country season with a top-20 finish at the Yankee Small College Conference Championships in Lake Placid, N.Y. and notched a pair of top 15 finishes on the year. A graduate of Ellsworth High School, he competed in both basketball and soccer.  Brown is currently a Liberal Studies major.

In his spare time, Brown enjoys being outdoors; hiking, running, kayaking, swimming, and fishing.
