SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine - First-year golfer Lee MacDowell won his second consecutive golf tournament last weekend, leading the UMA golf team to a second place finish at the Southern Maine Community College Invitational. 

MacDowell shot an 83 on the par 72 Sable Oaks Golf Club, five strokes ahead of NHTI's Spender Coronis. Host team SMCC golfers Grayson Waterman, Ville WuorenJuuri and Brian Gallagher rounded out the top five on the day.

Keith Chesley placed second on the Moose squad and eigth over all for the day, while Brandon Rogers and Dillon Fletcher rounded out the scoring for the Moose.

UMA hosts the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Qualifier on Saturday morning at Natanis Golf Course in Vasselboro.
