JONESBORO, MAINE – Jacob Roddy shot a two over par to help lead the University of Maine at Augusta golf team to a second place finish Sunday afternoon at Barren View Golf course. Roddy's score of 72 was only one stroke off of the individual winner, Reynold Brown of the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

UMPI took first place in the four team tournament with a team score of 306, but the Moose defeated both Eastern Maine Community College as well as the University of Maine at Machias, both Yankee Small College Conference rivals of the Moose.  Rounding out the scoring for UMA was Keith Ross with an 85, Drew Moody with an 83, and Keith Chesley with a 90.

UMA will next host an invitational next Saturday at Natanis Golf Course.
