Roddy finishes second for UMA

CAPE ELIZABETH, MAINE – Freshman Jacob Roddy finished second overall in his first collegiate golf match for the University of Maine at Augusta, as the Moose finished fourth in a field of five Monday afternoon at Purpoodock Golf Course.  Roddy shot an 83 on the day, nine off of Central Maine Community College's Andrew Slattery, who won the tournament with a 74.


CMCC won the Yankee Small College Conference competition with a team score of 347, followed by Southern Maine Community College at 356, Eastern Maine Community College with a 375, UMA took fourth with a 379, and the University of Maine at Machias rounded out the field with a team score of 383.
