SOUTH PORTLAND, ME -- Saturday afternoon (Sept. 20) the University of Maine at Augusta golf team played in their third match of the season and second time at Sable Oaks golf course in South Portland, Maine.  This time they faced Yankee Small College Conference opponents Great Bay Community College (GBCC) and Southern Maine Community College (SMCC).  UMA came in third with an overall score of 383.  Great Bay Community college took first with a team score of 346 and SMCC followed with a 377.

Teammates Robert Greig (Augusta, ME) and senior Jake Roddy (Belgrade, ME) tied for fourth place with a score of 83,  Followed by Keith Ross (Winthrop, ME) with 98, and Keith Priest  (Augusta, ME) who shot 119 on the day.

UMA will host next Saturday (Sept. 27) at Natanis Golf Course for the fourth match of the season.  GO MOOSE!
