CONCORD, NH-- The Lady Moose tipped off their season on November 8th at NHTI vs. Bristol Community College.  Wearing their home jerseys, the Moose took off full speed and got out to an early lead thanks to freshman guard Kylie Kemp (Monmouth, ME).  Kemp scored the first 11 points for the Moose who got out to an early 10-point lead.  “We came into this game focused,” said Head Coach Jennifer Laney.  “We had to get the first game nerves out and coming into the second half we really stepped it up.”  The Lady Moose went on to win 81-55 in their first game of the season.

Each and every Moose player scored and pulled down rebounds to give a great consistency to this win.  The Lady Moose were lead by freshman point guard, Carmen Bragg (Washburn, ME) who finished with 18 points, eight assists, six boards, and four steals.  Co-captain Jamie Plummer (Richmond, ME) had 17 points and five boards.  Kylie Kemp finished with 17 points, four steals, and four assists.  Co-captain Jessica St. Amand (Windsor, ME) finished with 16 points and 8 rebounds.

Rounding out the Moose were freshman Morgan Harrington (Richmond, ME) with eight points, Monique Moore (Jefferson, ME), and Kyrstin Kemp (Monmouth, ME) both with 2 points.  Erica Fredrick-Rock (Augusta, ME) had one point and three boards.
