UNITY, ME -- The UMA men's basketball team faced off against the Dean College Bulldogs in Unity, ME on Thursday, December 1st. This matchup was the second of four straight NCAA Division III competitions for the Moose this seasons.
The Bulldogs got off to a fast start capitalizing on athleticism and depth from the bench. It was sophomore, Dustin Simpson-Bragg, who led the Moose 30 points. Simpson-Bragg found his rhythm beyond the perimeter and was then able to match that by attacking the rim. He was also able to pull in 14 rebounds and dole out 2 assists.
Teammate Jordan Holmes finished the game with 24 points. He has 10 points from the charity stripe where he was perfect on the night. He followed up with 3 rebounds and 7 assists on the night.
Ultimately it was the Bulldogs who came away with the win, 109-71.
