CONCORD, NH—After a three hour drive to Concord, NH the Moose were ready to take on the Lynx of NHTI. It was a battle in the paint as both teams came out with icy shooting around the perimeter. It may have been cold around the arc but junior co-captain Keith Chesley (Clinton, ME) was lighting the paint on fire the first half with a quick 16 points for the Moose. Brandon Rogers (Turlock, CA) also came out with a bang giving the Moose 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
The Moose went into half time down by seven points against the Lynx. However, a tightly called game gave both teams foul trouble concerns.
It was Rogers who came out in the second half with a vengeance. Adding to his stellar first half performance, Rogers boasted an 18 point second half with another eight rebounds and three assists. He finished the game with 29 points 15 rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Rogers also went 9-9 from the line.
