Interesting Fact about Keith: He works at a summer camp called Pine Tree Camp. It is a summer camp for children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities. The job is something that he looks forward to every year, and it has truly changed who he is as a person. “It gives me an entire new perspective on life every day I wake up. It makes me feel lucky to just be able to play all the sports I want,” says Chesley.

Who is your mentor and why? My mentors are my Mom and Dad. They have both guided me in the right direction. They have always supported all the decisions that I have made and have always been there when I needed them. They are the reason that I have the motivation and drive that I have today.

What is your favorite class at UMA? I would say my favorite class was nutrition with Susan Baker.

What he likes most about UMA: I like the small classes and the willingness of every staff member to go above and beyond to help you reach your goals. I also really like the community atmosphere on campus.
