AUGUSTA, ME-- The UMA women’s basketball team faced the 7-0 Southern Maine Community College Seawolves on November 22, 2016 on their home court of the Augusta Civic Center.  The Moose looked to continue their momentum after returning from a weekend of winning the Hogan Camps Thanksgiving Tournament.

Jamie Plummer started the scoring for the Moose in what would be a close first quarter that ended 10-8 in favor of Southern Maine CC. The Moose remained within 6 going into the half however the Seawolves opened up their largest lead of the game during the third going up by 16. The Moose battled back in the fourth with an 8-0 scoring run bringing them within 9 after a layup from Carmen Bragg. The Seawolves would continue to hold on to their lead through the end of the game with a final score of 64-49.

Co-Captain Jamie Plummer led the team in offense with 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 assists.

The Moose are now 5-2 on the season and will take on Pine Manor College at home on November 29, 2016 at 5PM in the Civic Center.
