NORTHFIELD, VT— In their second game of the weekend and against another NCAA Division III opponent, the Moose capitalized on team basketball to pull in a win against Rivier.  Freshman Taylor Wilbur (Manchester, ME) got it started for the Moose with a hot hand connecting for four three pointers.  The Moose shot 43 free throws against Rivier, showing their aggression and persistence in the paint.

The Moose were down 37-29 at the half but powered back with 59 second half points while holding Rivier to just 38 points.  The Moose shot 53% in the second half and 83% from the line.  The Moose went on to win 88-73 for a huge out of conference win against a NCAA Division III opponent.

Wilbur led the charge with 27 points and 10 rebounds.  Keith Chesley (Clinton, ME) had 22 points and 12 rebounds while Brandon Rogers (Turlock, CA) netted 18 points and 15 boards.  Garrett Alley (Union, ME) boasted 16 points and six rebounds.  Robert Foss (Augusta, ME) pitched in five points.  

The Moose turn right back around for their third game in three days against USCAA opponent University of Maine at Presque Isle on Monday, December 8th at 7:00p.m. at the Augusta Civic Center.  Go Moose!
