MACHIAS, ME— The Lady Moose traveled to the University of Maine at Machias to take on the Clippers in their last matchup of the semester. The Moose were down two starters for the game but they all pulled together and worked as a cohesive unit to battle in conference action. The Moose were led by freshman, Carmen Bragg (Washburn, ME) who had an impressive 21 points in the first half going 9-13 from the field and 3-4 from behind the arc. Co-captain Jamie Plummer (Richmond, ME) added 10 points in the first half while each and every player for the Lady Moose pulled in rebounds. The Lady Moose took a 20 point lead at the half and never looked back. UMA went on to win 76-47.
Bragg had a career high 30 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Plummer pitched in 20 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks. Freshman Kori Coro (Jackman, ME) had 16 points and seven rebounds. Krystin Kemp (Monmouth, ME) put up six points, three rebounds (all offensive) and two assists. Kylie Kemp (Monmouth, ME) and Erica Fredrick-Rock (Augusta, ME) both added two points and one assist. Morgan Harrington (Richmond, ME) added two rebounds and an assist.
The Lady Moose end the semester 9-4 overall, 4-1 in conference, and ranked 5th in the Nation. They are back in action on January 10th against Berkeley in the NHTI holiday tournament.
