Moose Defeated by Norwich Cadets, 97-63

NORTHFIELD, VT -- The UMA Men's Basketball team traveled to Vermont to participate in the Ed Hockenbury Classic hosted by Norwich University. The Moose opened the tournament against the Cadets with a steal followed by a dunk from Dustin Simpson-Bragg. 


The Moose continued their fast start with 3's coming from Jordan Holmes and Noah Thompson both assisted by freshman Thomas Papagianopoulos. The game stayed close through the first 13 minutes of the first half before the Cadets went on a scoring streak leading at half time 48-34. 

The Cadets continued to control the second half of play capitalizing on the depth of their roster using every one of their 18 players.

Jordon Holmes contributed 27 points and 3 rebounds going 10-for-20 from the floor followed by Dustin Simpson-Bragg who netted 18 points. 

The UMA men's basketball team will travel to Unity, Maine on December 8th to face Unity College for a conference game.
