SOUTH PORTLAND, ME—MacDowell takes a first place finish in this week’s Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) match-up between University of Maine at Augusta, NHTI, Southern Maine Community College, and Great Bay Community College. Also in attendance for the meet was Dean College out of Franklin, MA. The tournament was hosted by Southern Maine Community College and took place at Sable Oaks Golf Course in South Portland, ME.
MacDowell improved upon his first week’s performance by four strokes shooting a 78. UMA placed 5th overall in the tournament with the help of scoring from Noah Thompson, Dillon Fletcher, and Nick Bragg.
Up next for the Moose is UMA’s home match at Natanis Golf Course on Sunday, September 25th at 11a.m. Yankee Small College Conference teams will use this match as a qualifier for the USCAA National Tournament.
