AUGUSTA, ME— The Moose faced off against Pine Manor College of Newton, Massachusetts at the Augusta Civic Center last night.  The Moose set the tone in the first half, with Noah Thompson, Dustin Simpson-Bragg, and Jordan Holmes combining for 36 points and 9 rebounds. The intensity from both teams set the stage for a nail biter, however a late half spurt from the gators left the Moose trailing at halftime; 52-58.

However, it was the Gators who dominated the second half going on a large run of their own with production coming from across their bench. With 15 minutes remaining the game became an offensive demonstration with a final score of 138-97 in favor of the Gators.

Dustin Simpson-Bragg had a career high 43 points versus the NCAA Division III team. This nets him a tie for 5th place for most points scored by an individual in a single game in UMA men's basketball history. He shares this spot with Rob Westbye (1998-99 season) and Mike Haskell (1986-87 season).
