AUGUSTA, ME—On Saturday, September 30th, the UMA Moose will host their home invitational golf match at the Augusta Country Club in Manchester, Maine. The Moose have recently named the Augusta Country Club their home course where they hosted a very successful golf tournament fundraiser this past summer.
Attending the UMA Invitational will be Yankee Conference match-ups including Southern Maine Community College and Great Bay Community College. Also in attendance will be University of Maine at Presque Isle. The tournament will bring together strong talent including YSCC front runner Evan Kordalski, freshman at University of Maine at Augusta. Kordalski was named YSCC Player of the Week in the first week of competition.
Another YSCC standout who will be golfing on the Saturday will be Kevin Dwyer who had scored a collegiate best 81 at Val Halla on Sunday, September 17th, tying NHTI’s Taylor Post. SMCC recently scored their lowest team score since 2012 and look to continue with their success this weekend.
