Coach Paul took over the Men's basketball program on a interim basis November 9th, 2021 and had the interim tag removed on January 25th, 2022. 

 

Piscopo's second year (2022-23) at the helm produced even better results finishing with a 12-16 record. The Moose finished the regular season as the #3 team in the YSCC with a 8-6 record. He coached Trevor Beals to a YSCC All-Conference First Team and USCAA Honorable Mention All-American...

 

Piscopo's first year (2021-22) started as assistant coach until being promoted to interim Head Coach and then finally removing the interim tag on January 25th, 2022.  Under his leadership the Moose went 7-18 though 2-8 after the interim tag was removed. He coached Elijah Smith to a YSCC All-Conference Second Team.

 

 

Prior to coming to UMA, Coach Piscopo was a successful Varsity Boys Coach in both Maine and Vermont.  He reached the State Tournament in every year of his tenures, culminating in a Western Maine Championship while at Bonny Eagle High School.  Coach Piscopo has also led many State Champion AAU teams in Maine and Vermont and his teams have earned several National Tournament bids. 

 

 

Currently Coach Piscopo owns and operates a Personal Training Studio in Falmouth, ME.
