CUMBERLAND, Maine – The University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) golf team played in the second Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) match on Sunday, Sept. 17 at Val Halla Golf Course.
New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI) scored a team low 351 to win the tournament, followed by SMCC coming up just one stroke behind. The Moose were disqualified from team scoring having three golfers finish the round.
Freshman Evan Kordalski finished 3rd overall in individual play with a score of 82 trailing NHTI’s Taylor Post and SMCC’s Kevin Dwyer’s round of 81. This is the second week of YSCC play that Kordalski has stood out in conference play.
UMA golf we be hosting the YSCC at their home course on September 30th at the Augusta Country Club.
