AUGUSTA, ME – UMA men’s basketball is excited to announce that Brian McPherson II has committed to the Moose for the 2019-2020 basketball season.
McPherson played for Drew Charter School Senior Academy in Atlanta Georgia where he averaged 29.3 PPG and was the team captain. McPherson in his sophomore year was the first player in school history to have a 40-point game.
When asked about what he was hoping to bring to the Moose men’s basketball team this season, McPherson said, “I will bring leadership and the determination to win. I will always hustle and play hard and play to my strengths. I’m going to put the team first and want to build trust with my teammates.”
