When did you start playing basketball? Was there someone that got you into it?
I started playing basketball very young. I grew up in the gym with my father during his coaching days. I grew up in the gym!
How have you balanced athletics with academics so far in your first semester at UMA?
I’ve been very busy between work, school, and basketball but the faculty at UMA have been very helpful. The staff provides a lot of extra effort to make you successful and I’m very thankful for that.
What has been your season highlight so far? What are your goals for the remainder of the season?
My season highlights have been getting the opportunity to start as a freshman, getting pushed out of my comfort zone, and playing with girls that have a mutual love for basketball. My goal for the remainder of the season is to strongly fill my role in the playoffs and help my team get to NATIONALS!!!!
What is your spirit animal?
My spirit animal is probably a cat but when I am playing basketball it is a velociraptor.
Why did you choose to attend UMA?
I easily chose UMA as it was a small school with a very positive atmosphere. I also chose UMA as I thought that the basketball program was a good fit for my role as a player.
