Major- Dental Hygiene

When did you start running?

I actually have never done cross country before, I have been a soccer player my whole life. I’m very excited to try something new! I look forward to trying cross country out for the first time. I think it will be a great opportunity, and an awesome experience.

How do you balance academics and athletics while here at UMA?

I transferred from Mount Ida College to UMA this past year. I did play for the women’s soccer team at Mount Ida College. Therefore, I know how challenging it can be to balance school and play a sport at the college level. It is extremely important to stay on top of your academics to be able to play the sport you love.

Why did you pick UMA?

I decided to go to UMA because they have an incredible dental hygiene program, as well as many others. UMA offers majors that a lot of schools in Maine don’t have. The faculty and staff at UMA do a really well job at helping students succeed and supporting students every step of the way.

Coaches Comments:

Faith has been an amazing addition to the women's cross country team this season. She has jumped head first into a new sport and has utilized her athletic ability and work effort to excel so far this season.
